
Scottish Ballet @ Tramway
Refurbishment of existing theatre building and construction of new extension to create flagship dance studios / rehearsal facilities in amongst operational theatre / arts venue.
The project involved the demolition of some existing bays at the Tramway, grouting of two existing coal seams at depth below ground level, piling to support new building and construction of the new wing of the buildings, including alterations & refurbishment to other areas of the Tramway Theatre.

With such major extension works there were several constraints involved in the project which were integrated into the design and planning phases to reduce the risk involved during the construction phase:
