Health & Safety Services

For many years, construction has been recognised to be one of the most hazardous industries in the UK - but it is also one of the most regulated in terms of safety, with enormous advances having been made in recent years to reduce the number of deaths ensuring workers go home safe and sound at the end of the working day.

This does bring with it a myriad of legislation and regulation which can seem daunting for any development or construction business, when weighing up the risks along with the benefits.

Our approach is to offer sensibly priced, quality services to assist clients, developers & builders with protecting their workforce and supply chain, complying with relevant legislation and avoiding the threat of court cases, fines, corporate manslaughter charges, insurance claims or damage to their reputation.

And with our multi-disciplinary background, there are value-adding opportunities throughout the property development process. Work with us and really see the difference.

GHPC can support your business with the following Health & Safety Services:

"Every year many construction site workers are killed or injured as a result of their work; others suffer ill health, such as musculoskeletal disorders, dermatitis or asbestosis. The hazards are not, however, restricted to those working on sites. Children and other members of the public are also killed or injured because construction activities have not been adequately controlled."

Foreword from HSE's HSG 150 - Health & Safety in Construction
