The build comprised construction of 6 10-12 storey apartment blocks providing 375 luxury apartments and penthouses over a common basement carpark and podium, including 190 units for retirement living, affordable housing, a high-quality leisure suite, linear park and basement car parking. The apartments border a landscaped square and is still under construction.

Given the location of the works, there were a number of constraints which were taken into the consideration in the design & planning phase:

Deep basement excavation
Managing works to ensure protection of existing structures
Working in close proximity to an operational railway line
Multi-storey construction: enhanced Fire Management Strategy etc.
Limited space & multi-storey: required Tower Crane for building process
Close proximity to existing residential high rise homes and retail with security, noise, dust, vibration issues

CDM Support to Principal Designer, prepared Pre-construction Information for Tender stages, reviewed External PC’s CPHSP & RAMS. Reviewing O&M’s and H&S Files prepared on behalf of St.Edward.
