We approach project management in a similar way to our other services, offering a pragmatic and sensible attitude, ensuring that Client requirements are key objectives of all projects, seeking out value-adding and cost-saving opportunities, balanced with delivering high-quality, robust projects, managing risk and improving project outcomes.

 

GHPC’s project management is ultimately as flexible as the Client requires, we can offer support and guidance to existing project teams or run new projects independently of the Client’s existing operations.

 

A typical service is likely to incorporate:

  • key interface between Client Teams, Designers, Principal Contractors & Consortia to deliver projects in-line with Client remits, programmes and budgets, in compliance with CDM 2015.

  • act as Principal Designer and fulfil CDM duties to plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate Health & Safety in pre-construction phases of projects.

  • facilitate definitions of project scope, goals and deliverables, define project tasks & resource requirements and develop full-scale, workable project plans.

  • set and manage project budgets and manage project information flow.

  • key interface between Client Teams, Designers, Principal Contractors & Consortia to deliver projects in-line with Client remits, programmes and budgets, in compliance with CDM 2015.

  • act as Principal Designer and fulfil CDM duties to plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate Health & Safety in pre-construction phases of projects.

  • facilitate definitions of project scope, goals and deliverables, define project tasks & resource requirements and develop full-scale, workable project plans.

  • set and manage project budgets and manage project information flow.

  • run the tender process, co-ordinate documentation, appoint, assemble and co-ordinate project teams providing direction and support.

  • monitor project teams for compliance of deliverables against programmes/budgets and report to Clients.

  • monitoring quality standards in both design and construction and working with design and construction teams to ensure quality-focussed delivery

  • regular reporting to Client, as per project requirements.

  • interact with Client commercial, legal and operational teams.

  • manage regular interface between Design Team, Site Project Team, Contractor Team, Client & Consortia.

  • manage design work to ensure that all design information is received, co-ordinated and distributed on time and within budget.

  • monitor Principal Contractor site progress.

  • manage project contracts & budget documentation.

  • issue site instructions, manage release of design instructions, assess variation potential and manage contractual variations

  • liaise and negotiate with third party bodies as required to ensure project delivery to achieve objectives and programmes.
